Let Elite Help your Business Get Back to Business

In the coming weeks we will be heading back to work and a new normal will be realized. Be prepared by utilizing our COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting services.

Elite has been developing action plans to meet the challenges of reopening your offices and facilities as well as ongoing COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting services to ensure the health and safety of all staff, visitors and guests.

The CDC has issued guidelines stating that the COVID-19 virus can sustain and persist on surfaces from a few hours up to 3-5 days. It has been recently reported that the COVID-19 Virus can remain contagious:

  • Airborne up to Three (3) Hours
  • 24 hours on stainless steel surfaces
  • 1-3 days on cardboard surfaces
  • 2-3 days on plastic, synthetic and non-porous surfaces

Educate Employees on How to Safely Return to Work:

When stay-at-home orders are lifted and everyone returns, it is important to remind employees that the risk of contracting COVID-19 is still very high. Elite’s COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting services can help ensure employees that their office space is sanitized thoroughly.

It is important to educate employees on the proper way to safely return to work and working around others, including social distancing, wearing masks, and monitoring the wellness of staff and visitors. It is especially crucial that employees keep up with basic sanitary practices.

Encourage Staff if Sick, Please Stay Home!

Three Symptoms of Covid 19

Remind your staff that if they are exhibiting ANY signs of any flu-like symptoms, due to orders from the State of New York and Mayor’s Office, they must remain home. This is for the health and safety of your clients, coworkers, guests and Elite’s staff.

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

It had previously been reported that signs of COVID-19 were shortness of breath, cough and fever. Recently the following symptoms have been added:

  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

Employees should not return to work until the recommended isolation period has been met, including testing.

The area must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before allowing operations to resume or continue. If you have become aware that any employee or visitor in your office has tested positive for COVID-19, it should be sanitized and disinfected immediately before allowing operations to resume.

Reopening-Preparing for a Healthy Work Environment

Elite will monitor all changes in CDC guidance while providing the following COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting services:

Hard (Non-Porous) Surfaces
Keyboard

Elite shall supply qualified, trained staff to implement COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting services for all frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, desks, phones, keyboard and mouse, and chairs including arm rests and handrails. Other surfaces include kitchens/pantries, sinks, refrigerator handles, coffee pots and other appliances. All surfaces of lavatories should be cleaned and disinfected.

  • All surfaces will be cleaned to remove dirt prior to disinfecting services.
  • Electronics shall be wiped clean using an approved disinfectant or wipe. This includes monitors, touch screens, remotes or other devices.
  • Elite uses only EPA-registered Antimicrobial disinfectant found to be the most effective with COVID-19 cleaning specifically.
Soft Surfaces Carpet and Upholstery

COVID-19 cleaning of all soft/porous surfaces will be performed including removing all visible dirt and disinfecting areas such as carpet/rugs, drapes, chairs, upholstery and fabric partitions.

Electrostatic Spraying
Spray

Electrostatic spray provides an extra level of assurance, protection, and cleanliness. Elite’s technicians have been specially trained in electrostatic disinfecting services. This technique has been proven to be the most effective process to sanitize and help prevent the spread of infection. It is currently our most requested COVID-19 cleaning service.

Electrostatic spraying is a powerful tool to optimize the application of EPA-registered disinfectants. The sprayer places an electrostatic charge to disinfectant as the fine mist leaves the spray nozzle, which causes the droplets to cling to virtually any surface.

This process provides a consistent and uniform coverage for which disinfectant adheres and coats all vertical, horizontal and three-dimensional surfaces while also eliminating the dangers of cross-contamination by using rags.

The process is demonstrated the same way lint is attracted to clothes or dust on a TV screen / computer monitor.

Ongoing Service Plan

Review and implement new service plan to promote and increase the frequency of COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting services including:

  • Increasing scope of COVID-19 cleaning services during evening work.
  • Daytime COVID-19 Cleaning: providing continuous COVID-19 cleaning throughout the day, focusing disinfecting services on high touch areas such as lavatories, kitchen/pantries, mother's room, wellness areas and conference rooms as they are being used. Observing cleaning staff demonstrates the efforts of your company to keep everyone healthy and safe.
  • Weekly detailed COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting services.
  • Electrostatic Spray Disinfecting services scheduled regularly.
  • Supplies – ensure full stock of hand sanitizer, gloves, mask and anti-bacterial wipes stationed in high use areas. Provide access to these supplies for employees to maintain their personal work space. Elite can provide and deliver these items based on request.
  • PPE will also be worn by all Elite Staff.
  • Replacement of paper towel and hand soap dispensers to be touch-free / hands-free.
